Here you can get the free pattern for an easy crochet acorn that could easily be turned into a keychain.
These little guys are super quick to make, and you can customise them as you need to, make them freshly fallen green acorns, or the end of autumn brown acorns.

How big a crochet acorn?
These little acorns are made with DK yarn and a 4mm hook, and they measure a mini 2.5 cm / 1 inch.
You can make them slightly bigger using worsted weight yarn and a 5mm hook.
Or make them slightly smaller using a thinner yarn and 3.5mm hook.

How do you make an acorn?
The little mini acorns are made using the amigurimi technique, starting with a magic ring, and working in the continuous round.
The bottom is made as 1 piece, then the top as piece 2. The bottom is then stuffed and the top sewn to the bottom with whip stitch.
