Here you can find the free crochet pattern for a C2C chevron style cushion. This is a great geometric pattern that uses 7 colours of yarn, so could be perfect for a scrap project to use up your stash, or go all out and treat yourself to some posh yarn (like I have!)
I love Corner to Corner crochet, and will always pick this as my go to for a project, usually blankets, but also for cushions, and even a sweater that I’m part way through making!
This cushion is super bright and happy, and really easy, perfect for a beginner.

Yarn choice for my Chevron Cushion
This was easy, the lovely people over at Furls sent me some of their Furls Wander Acrylic Yarn.
I’d had my eye on this yarn for ages, after seeing it on their Instagram account. They also sent me the most amazing metal hook, that I’ve fallen in love with!
This hook fits perfectly in your hand, and is properly weighted to make sure it moves in a lovely rhythm.
I have a few Resin Furl hooks, and this metal one is by far my favourite.
It’s heavier than a Resin hook, but not as heavy as an Odyssey.
And even better, I’m not worried about dropping it – as it’s really hard wearing!
About the yarn
Furls Wander yarn is a 100 Acrylic yarn, worsted 4 medium weight that comes in 100g balls. Each ball has approximately 120 yards/ 109m of the softest yarn you will find!
The sheen on this yarn, really can’t be shown in photos, so you’ll just have to trust me when I say it’s super shiny.
The recommended hook size is a 5.0mm (H).
Yarn Colour Choice
The colours for this cushion, together with the yarn are what makes it – the pink……. Lets just take a moment to enjoy the pinkness of this pink!
Snow (Cream)
Bergamot (Light purple)
Campfire (Orange)
Festival (Bright Pink)
Obsidian (Black)
Peninsula (Mint green)
Atlantis (Blue)
You’ll need 1 ball of each in 7 colours.
