Here you can find the instructions and Video to make an easy crochet baby blanket.
This design was an easy choice, my go to of Corner to Corner – as once you get started you don’t need to think!
If you want a quick lesson on C2C or corner to corner – I have a complete beginners post here – taking you through a really slow video on how to make it. It really is a beginners video, from holding the yarn, and how to do the stitches.

So – It’s a corner to corner baby blanket! ?Made using Scheepjes Colour Crafter in black (Ede) and white (Weert), and Wilnis (teal).
Now this yarn is super duper squishy, and the white is actually a white – not a washed out white.
Why this design?
Well it uses the way way the blanket is made- in diagonals meaning the colour changes are easy!
Why black and white for a baby blanket?
Babies can only only see in black and white for the first 3 months, and well the teal – this was for a little boy – and I wanted modern!
If you want something more colourful – check out my rainbow blanket here>>>
You will need to make the easy crochet blanket
2 balls of Weert Scheepjes Colour crafter
2 balls of Ede Scheepjes Colour crafter
1 ball of Wilnis Scheepjes Colour crafter
A 4mm crochet hook

How to make the blanket
It’s really simple – 3 rows of each colour, making sure I finished the last yarn over of each stitch with the new colour.
Learn how to change colour neatly here>>>
Make until the blanket is:
48 rows wide
66 rows long
Then a border in a teal of 4 rows HDC in Wilnis.
