Learn how to make a simple spiral rose bookmark that looks absolutely stunning – but with a little bit of crochet know how – it’s actually surprisingly simple to make.
I’ve been teaching crochet flower workshops for a while, to beginners and more experienced crocheters alike.
One thing they all say is that they can’t believe how something so simple looks so effective.
Pair these with a simple leaf, and a chain – and a quick and easy bookmark in about 10 minutes! (The lazy crocheter strikes again)

Crochet Spiral Rose Bookmark
The crochet roses in the picture above were made with various mercerised cottons I had in my stash.
>>>I used them for my Summer Crochet Wreath Pattern
I think the dusky pink was a free little ball from Yarn and Colour that came with Inside Crochet magazine a while ago.
The Bright pink would have been a duo – quite a bouncy cotton.
And the light pink almost certainly Yarnart begonia, the cotton that I used to make Those hats!

The yarn you use (and the camera you use to take the photos and the background), can make a huge difference (see above!).
I used a lovely premium baby acrylic to make these ones above.
It’s the same yarn I used to make this baby blanket

You can use the roses as an embelishment – or turn them into a book mark too!

These roses are a super quick and easy make – so lets get started.
