Week one of my no Brainer Crochet-along (CAL) – where we make a classic retro granny square blanket (or afghan) over a a couple of months.
No pressure -you can join the CAL at anytime, and get all the free crochet patterns here (along with other free crochet patterns of course!)
So – not much thinking – bold bright colours, and a lot of traditional crochet granny squares.
Are you ready for this peaceful, no thinking crochet journey to make a blanket.
I can’t wait to see what you all make – whether it by my blanket – or your own colours.
If you want to save this for later- please PIN it here

If are making with my colours – they are all Stylecraft Special DK from either Deramores or Wool Warehouse, but equally – please use your own stash…. thats the point of this blanket!
No thinking and using up your stash!
So – a granny square – check out my post here on how to make it.
If you are very new to crochet – don’t worry – I have a super slow, absolute complete beginners guide here including a video – where I take it one step at a time – and very slowly – just like I’d teach a granny square in my in person workshops!
Check out my super slow video like my C2C too
