My latest crochet pattern is in Simply Crochet issue 112.
This is a great issue with lots of colourful summery makes from lots of great designers.

What is a good summer crochet project?
I think my design this month really hits the brief, as uses motifs. No crocheting under a huge hot project here!
My blanket design is made up from hexagons – lots of them!
Hexagon Blanket
This crochet pattern is a great summer make as it uses single motifs joined together.
The single motifs are really easy to make when you get into the swing of making them, and they only take about 20 minutes each.
I have a bit of a thing for hexagon blankets, having made a few now!

Yarn for the Crochet Hexagon Blanket
This was actually the key to the project, and what inspired my design.
Cygnet Yarns had relaunched their Silacress line of premium acrylic, and I was lucky enough to try some last year.
I fell in love with this yarn after designing this sweater for them.

Lots of hexagons, that were the perfect summer make, all joined together to produce a striking blanket that is huge!
You can get a copy of the magazine for the pattern.
