As I sit down to write this post, I realise I’ve been a little bit absent here for the past 2 months!
Where does the time go, I have no idea…. well I probably do, it was Christmas after all.
I also have another excuse – technical issues with a very full icloud and 150,000 photos and everything decided not to talk to each other anymore.
Luckily, with a little help from Mr OTH, and 6 weeks of things trying to sync with each other I am finally back up and running!
(Note to self – do not try and have 150,000 photos on your phone and computer at the same time….. Can anyone beat this number?)
So what have I been doing (apart from screaming at the computer)?
Well, a couple of my designs were re-published in some special edition magazines just before Christmas – how cool is that?
My little girls dress made it into this one.
I still absolutely love the way this little dress made from King Cole yarn 10% alpaca was styled. That tiny little bunny!
I might need to make a bigger one for the pink one at this rate.
Well little Mr sloth made it into this one!
This was a very proud moment.
I’ve been working on some new projects for Cygnet yarns too.
Here is a little sneaky peak of one.
How squishy is that yarn!
A few other things on my hook, and I have a mission to write up some of the many patterns I have in the many notebooks I own. Stationary just calls out to be bought doesn’t it…. a bit like wool.
You can never have too much of either!

The words I posted a good couple of years ago, and I’m still going through photos (hence the 150,000) that can’t be archived as I still need to write the pattern up!
The amount of people when I’m wearing something I’ve made, that ask me about the pattern…. and my words that follow:
I have a lot to catch up on, ponchos, scarves, hats, flowers, blankets, toys you name it!
Being too creative can be bad thing, when I switch from one project to another without even thinking about writing up what I’ve done.
And this is where my plan has already come unstuck.
1 pattern a week, during school term time. We’re 5 weeks in and I haven’t done a single one!
I blame the photos!
So watch this space, as hopefully patterns and ideas will be coming soon.
Happy New Year to you all, here’s to a bumper year of blog posts, patterns, and yarn (Lots and Lots of Yarn!)
