Here you can find the easy C2C crochet heart pillow I designed.
I love C2C, or corner to corner as it’s known, so why not combine them both to make a stunning homeware make in the form of a cushion.

Crochet Heart Pillow – Easy C2C Free Pattern
I designed this pillow initially for Crochet Now magazine and it was hugely popular.
But now I can share this for free here.
There are a few ways you can access and enjoy this crochet pattern for a C2C Crochet Heart Pillow and help support my blog Off the Hook for You.
- You can find and use the C2C Crochet Heart Pillow here on the blog that is supplemented with adverts.
- You can purchase, print and keep the 4 page advert-free pattern PDF below in both USA and UK terms
Why C2C for a pillow?
I love the simplicity of corner to corner and especially the texture!
And honestly it’s super simple then you know how.
It only uses:
- Chains
- Double crochets
This is a perfect beginners pattern, as the way the colour changes work it’s perfect for learning this technique.

In fact, its so perfect, that in my workshops when I teach C2C and colour changing we use a heart as the example!

Yarn for a Heart pillow
This C2C pillow is bright and colourful.
So yarn choice for this was key for colours, but also to make it affordable for all, at only £2/ $2.50 a ball.
So I chose Stylecraft Special DK.
You could substitute any other DK yarn, but make sure it’s a DK as the sizing will be wrong if you make it with a worsted weight.
