Hello, Thanks for joining me. Here you can get the free crochet pattern I designed for a Chenille crochet blanket – the perfect size for a baby blanket.
This was a joy to make – using a thick yarn with a big hook.
Give me this any day over fiddly 4ply.
So when Cygnet Yarns asked me to make something with their new colours of chenille chunky I jumped at the chance!
I love this yarn!

Chenille Yarn Crochet patterns
I’d already made this fab blanket in 8 hours! You can find out about this one here.
And a cushion cover…..with bobbles!
Or how about a colourful wavy cowl – get the free pattern here>>>
This yarn is so so quick to work up, and the balls are huge – 200g so you can make a lot from one ball.
So onto the new colours.
They have some new spring colours, and I was dying to get my hands on them.
I’d used, Petrol Mustard and Gunmetal in the Lanzarote waves blanket.
Then cranberry for the cushion cover.
Mustard and Aubergine in the cowl.
The new spring colours, the Misty grey, Sky, honeydew, sorbet and Clover – all were just too good to choose from.
So, designer head on – and I chose to match some of the new with the existing colours.
2 yellows and 2 blues, with a grey – you can’t beat it!
Just look at those waves….. I love them!
This blanket is quick.
I was racing away… so quickly I ran out of grey!
New yarn delivery… and off I went again!
